On the afternoon of September 19, two police officers detained blogger Stanislav Morozov, who has covered cases of Penza residents being forced to sign military contracts. He reported his detention in a voice message posted in the Isolated Russia chat, a recording of which was obtained by 7x7. Morozov has not been heard from since.

Shortly before his detention, Stanislav Morozov posted a video of himself spoiling his ballots by ticking the boxes for every candidate. On one ballot, he wrote “Putin khuylo” (“Putin is a dickhead”), while on another, he crossed out the name “United Russia” and said, “This one can fuck right off.” Morozov filled out his ballots while standing in the middle of the street.

The blogger soon deleted the video at the request of the “chairman,” apparently referring to the chair of the precinct election commission where he voted. The Telegram channel New Alternative Route later published the video, and a member of the Isolated Russia chat confirmed its authenticity to 7x7.

The blogger’s mother, Elena Morozova, told 7x7 that a court had sentenced him to 14 days of administrative detention, but she could not say under which article. One chat member told 7x7 that “Stas called and said he would be released on [October] 3.” 7x7 was unable to find any records of the case against Morozov on the websites of Penza courts.
